The Ukrainian violin sonata, in English for the first time

His doctoral dissertation is the first comprehensive English-language study of the violin sonatas of Naum Lapynsky and Mykola Silvansky — repertoire that had never been performed or analysed outside Ukraine. Beyond the history, it gives working violinists phrasing, bowing and ensemble solutions for music the international canon had overlooked.
